Elon Musk said he’s now fully focused on X, xAI, Tesla, and the next SpaceX Starship launch.
Elon Musk says he’s going back to working around the clock after technical problems affected the X platform globally. He shared that he’s now fully concentrating on X, Tesla, xAI, and the next big SpaceX launch. The tech billionaire said the platform suffered serious uptime failures that should not have happened.
“We need to fix the backup systems. They didn’t work as expected,” he posted.
“I’ll be working non-stop again, sleeping at the office or factory if needed.”
He made the post in reply to a discussion started by X Daily News, an independent news handle that pointed to a possible fire at a data centre in Oregon as part of the problem.
The outage affected users worldwide and lasted several hours, causing delays and complaints from many. This comes as questions continue to be raised over X’s structure after Musk’s takeover and the job cuts that followed in 2022, especially within the engineering team.
Starship Test Launch Approaching as Political Focus Slows Down
As Elon Musk shifts his attention away from politics, his focus is now on the upcoming Starship flight, which is expected to launch on May 27. This flight could be a big step toward Musk’s dream of making space travel common in the future.
Starship, developed by SpaceX, is designed to carry people and cargo beyond Earth. The next test will launch from SpaceX’s Starbase site near Boca Chica, Texas. Musk has described this project as one of his most important missions.
His statement also followed reports that he will cut down on political donations, especially after concerns were raised by investors over how his political views might be interfering with his leadership of companies like Tesla and SpaceX.
