Jubilee Digital Communications Strategist Pauline Njoroge has confirmed the presence of retired President Uhuru Kenyatta, who was spotted in the United States of America. In a post on Facebook, Pauline said Uhuru has been pivotal in steering the restoration of peace in the DRC.
She revealed that the former President was also in Washington DC for the signing of the peace agreement between Rwanda and DRC.
Pauline commended Kenyan athletes after US President Donald Trump praised Kenyan athletes for their performance in the Olympics.
Speaking after meeting President Ruto, Trump revealed he has been watching the Olympics, acknowledging the performance of Kenyan athletes.
Pauline Njoroge, who took to Facebook to react to his remarks, said this was the first time Trump said something positive about an African country.
On his part, President Ruto commended Trump for overseeing the signing of the peace agreement between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to end the conflict in Eastern DRC.
According to Ruto, the move will help bring peace to the region. President William Ruto said, “I would like to thank President Donald Trump for his intervention in Rwanda and DRC conflict. A peaceful DRC will transform Africa”.
