Official mascots of the 2026 World Cup

The 2026 World Cup will be held in three countries. Therefore, FIFA has decided that this time there will not just be one official tournament mascot, but three – one from each host country. Here they are.

Maple the Moose

Maple the Moose is, of course, the mascot from Canada. On the field, Maple takes on the role of goalkeeper. He is meant to embody the diversity of the country’s provinces and showcase its rich culture. Maple is creative and enjoys street art and music.

Zay the Jaguar

Zay is a jaguar from the Mexican jungle. He symbolizes the rich history and heritage of this country. The strong and cheerful Zay plays as a striker on the field. Off the field, Zay showcases Mexican culture through dance and local cuisine.

Clutch the Bald Eagle

Clutch is an eagle who travels throughout the US, popularizing local culture. On the field, he’s fearless and a great team player as a midfielder. As befits a footballer in that position, Clutch wins over teammates and fans alike by playing with passion and giving his all.
