“I didn’t know her at all,” Frank shared during an interview. “I just started texting funny things like ‘Come to Kenya, baby.’ It was pure vibe—nothing serious at first.”
A Bold Move with Sh100
As many men flooded Ilona’s Live, she jokingly challenged them to show commitment by sending Sh100. Frank, though broke at the time, took it seriously and sent the money. That simple act, he says, changed everything.
“She saw it and started messaging me directly. Then she began sending me small amounts—Sh1,000 here, Sh500 there—to buy snacks and all. That’s when things began to flow.”
The First Real Meeting
Ilona eventually flew to Kenya. Frank was excited, but reality hit hard—he didn’t have fare to pick her from Mombasa.
“She gave me Sh1,000 when she noticed I had no money. That touched me. It showed me she cared, not just talking online,” Frank said emotionally.

The couple is now well-known on TikTok, often sharing their life together online. But Frank admits they face some criticism, especially because of the age gap.
“Some mock me in public but ask privately how to get an older woman. Some say they want even older—like 70 years,” he said while laughing.

Frank says he doesn’t dwell on negativity. His focus is on happiness and building a future with Ilona. She, on the other hand, is serious about their relationship and has already started talking about weddings.
“Life is about taking chances,” Frank said with confidence. “If it goes well, you enjoy. If not, you keep moving. But I have no regrets.”
