Some Israeli cabinet members want the war to go on until Hamas is disarmed and all hostages return.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has continued to support cabinet members who insist the war in Gaza must go on until Hamas is fully disarmed and all Israeli hostages are brought home. These officials have even suggested pushing all Palestinians out of Gaza completely.

Despite public pressure, criminal charges at home, and a looming arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC), Netanyahu has not shown signs of backing down.

Dozens Killed as Airstrikes Intensify

Palestinian health officials reported that at least 34 people were killed across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. The Israeli military confirmed it launched air raids on 115 sites, saying the targets included Hamas rocket sites, tunnels, and military structures.

The continuing attacks have left destruction in many neighborhoods, worsening an already dire humanitarian situation.

Aid Trucks Blocked by Angry Protesters

At the Kerem Shalom crossing—located in the southeast of Gaza—a few Israeli demonstrators attempted to stop aid trucks from passing through. Their message was clear: no help should go into Gaza while Israeli hostages remain in captivity.

Since early March, Israel has blocked aid entry, claiming that Hamas has been taking food and supplies meant for civilians. Hamas has denied these claims.

New Aid Plan Faces Criticism

A fresh system for aid delivery, supported by the U.S. and relying on private companies, is expected to begin soon. But aid agencies say the plan is unclear and flawed, warning that key logistics haven’t been properly addressed.

With food running out fast and many families starving, the delay in organized aid delivery is only deepening the crisis.

War’s Human Cost Grows by the Day

The conflict started on October 7 when Hamas launched an attack that killed around 1,200 people in Israel and led to over 250 hostages being taken to Gaza.

Since then, Israel’s military campaign has killed more than 53,600 Palestinians, according to health authorities in Gaza. Aid groups have raised alarms about widespread malnutrition, especially among children.

The destruction of Gaza has sparked global concern, yet peace seems distant as both sides hold firm.
