Iran’s Uranium Stockpile Persists:
An advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated on Sunday that the nation continues to possess its stock of enriched uranium despite American assaults on critical nuclear facilities.
“Even if nuclear sites are damaged, the game doesn’t end; enriched materials, local expertise, and political determination will endure,” asserted Ali Shamkhani in a message posted on X.
He further mentioned that “the political and operational initiative now lies with those who act strategically and avoid reckless strikes. Surprises will persist!”
In addition, Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized during a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron that the United States must face consequences for its attacks on nuclear installations in the Islamic Republic.
In a related incident, local media reported that at least nine members of the Revolutionary Guards lost their lives on Sunday due to Israeli strikes in central Iran, as hostilities between the two adversaries continued.
“Following the aggression of the savage Zionist regime and its mercenaries against two military centers in Yazd city, seven personnel from the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and two conscripts were martyred,” reported Tasnim news agency, citing an IRGC statement.
The report also indicated that others sustained injuries from the assault. Earlier, Fars news agency mentioned that Israeli airstrikes targeted two military locations in Yazd.
