"Karibuni" President Ruto Steps Up To Welcome Justine Muturi & Mithika Linturi Back Into His Government

President Ruto has publicly invited former National Assembly Speaker Justine Muturi and former Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi to return to government, signaling a fresh push for political unity and inclusivity ahead of critical national moments.

President William Ruto has once again extended an olive branch to former allies Justine Muturi and Mithika Linturi, saying his administration is open to working with all leaders of goodwill, regardless of past political differences.

Speaking during the Nyota Capital Disbursement held at Kinoru Stadium, Ruto made it clear that he holds no personal grudges against the two leaders and would welcome them back into government should they choose to return.

The Head of State told residents that his leadership philosophy is anchored on unity, development, and service to all Kenyans, not political revenge or exclusion.

“Mimi nikiwa hapa Meru leo, nakaribisha akina Muturi na Linturi katika serikali. Niko tayari kufanya kazi na viongozi wote ili tuletee Wakenya maendeleo,” Ruto said.

Ruto further emphasized that his government has enough room to accommodate leaders who are willing to work for the people, adding that national development should never be stalled by political disagreements.

“If they want to rejoin the government, waingie. Kuna nafasi na kuna kazi ya kufanya kwa manufaa ya Wakenya wote,” he added.

In his remarks, the President stressed that no region would be sidelined due to political alignment, noting that every part of Kenya deserves equal development whether it supported him or not during elections.

“Mimi nafanyia Wakenya wote kazi. Kila kona lazima ipate maendeleo. Ndiyo maana niko tayari kufanya kazi na viongozi wote. Wale wanaotaka kurudi karibuni sana nyumbani,” he said.

The statement has sparked widespread political discussion, with analysts viewing it as a strategic move to ease tensions and possibly strengthen government numbers as the country approaches another politically sensitive period.

The video of Ruto’s remarks has since gone viral online, fueling speculation about potential political realignments and the future roles Muturi and Linturi could play if they accept the President’s invitation.
