The story of the Nairobi cab driver who was assaulted by four drunk party loving ladies has taken a shocking new twist and Kenyans are boiling with anger.

Speaking to the media, the visibly emotional driver claimed that after reporting the incident at Kilimani Police Station, he was allegedly pressured to withdraw the case, despite having solid evidence including video footage and witnesses.

“Nililazimishwa kuwithdraw case pale Kilimani,” the cab driver claimed, leaving Kenyans wondering what really happens when ordinary men citizens seek justice.

The situation has now triggered national outrage, with many questioning whether the boychild truly has rights in Kenya, or if justice only works depending on gender.

“Boychild hanaga haki,” one person wrote. “Justice for the boychild,” another added. “If it was a man who beat up ladies, angekaa ndani wiki mbili bila hearing,” a frustrated Kenyan added.

Others questioned why they would withdraw the case with clear evidence, “why withdraw with clear video evidence. This is injustice.”

However, the cab driver explained that at the time he took them to the police, there was no evidence and he didn’t know that there was a video circulating on the internet.

Kenyans online are now demanding the case be revisited and action taken against any officers who may have mishandled it. Calls are growing for senior authorities to intervene so the driver can finally get justice.
