New millionaire in town and 22-year-old environmentalist Truphena Muthoni has disclosed to the public the strict rules that she was supposed to adhere to, for her tree hug marathon to be recognized internationally and to be specific by the Guinness World Record.
According to her, for her to participate in the strenuous challenge and for her new record to be recognized, she not only required to have a High Definition (HD) camera recording her for the 72 hours, but most importantly her hands were supposed to remain visible around the tree all the times.
To make it even worse, she was not supposed to sit down even while holding the tree and if it was necessary for her to move round the tree, her hands were supposed to be visible showing that she was still holding the tree.
In bid to make her dreams a reality, Truphena Muthoni indicated that days prior the challenge, she denied herself food, water and sleep in bid to prepare and condition her body to the harsh reality that was awaiting her in the challenge.
Aside from that, Truphena added that before the main challenge she also had some bathroom breaks which she believes played a key role in ensuring she fulfilled the 72 hours challenge.
Upon completion of the challenge, Truphena Muthoni was reportedly whisked by an ambulance to hospital after breaking her initial record, as she appeared feeble and exhausted.
