Where is Diddy? As the investigation into sex trafficking continues

In the midst of an expanding investigation into sex trafficking, Sean “Diddy” Combs is still in…

Homeland Security raids Diddy’s residence in sex trafficking inquiry.

Two law enforcement officials informed The Associated Press that federal officers from the Homeland Security Investigations division and other agencies searched two of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ houses in Miami and Los Angeles on Monday as part of a continuing investigation into sex trafficking. Federal investigators in New York are currently looking into allegations of sex trafficking, according to the officials. Whether or not Combs was the one under scrutiny remains unclear. The officials talked with The AP on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly discuss inquiry details. With the help of HSI Miami, HSI Los Angeles, and our local law enforcement partners, Homeland Security Investigations “executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation,” according to a statement. A spokesman for Combs was slow to react when asked for comment. Combs has been the subject of multiple sexual assault cases in the past few months, one of which was resolved last year by R&B artist Cassie. The lady who accused Combs of rape twenty years ago, when she was seventeen years old, was another accusation against the rap mogul.

Putin wins Russia election in landslide with record turnout.

Russia’s election on Sunday saw President Vladimir Putin win in a historic post-Soviet landslide, solidifying his hold on power despite the fact that thousands of opponents demonstrated at polling places at midday and the US declared the vote to be neither free nor fair. The outcome is meant to emphasize to the West that its leaders will have to deal with a stronger Russia, whether in war or peace, for many more years to come, according to Putin, a former KGB lieutenant colonel who first came to power in 1999. Because of the early results, Vladimir Putin, 71, will likely win a second, six-year term, which will allow him to surpass Josef Stalin and become Russia’s longest-serving leader in history—more than 200 years. An exit survey conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM) revealed that Putin received 87.8% of the vote, the greatest percentage in Russia’s post-Soviet history. Putin stood at 87% according to the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM). The first official results of the polls showed that ultra-nationalist Leonid Slutsky came in fourth, newcomer Vladislav Davankov came in third, and Communist contender Nikolai Kharitonov came in second with little under 4%. “Considering how Mr. Putin has jailed political opponents and barred others from running against him, the elections are clearly neither free nor fair,” the National Security Council of the White House stated. The election takes place just over two years after Putin’s order to invade Ukraine set off the bloodiest European conflict since World War Two. “Special military operation” is how he characterizes it. According to media reports, polling places in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Yekaterinburg saw a surge of voters at noon, with lines of several hundred or perhaps thousands of people, primarily young people. Despite the fact that there were few obvious indicators that set them apart from regular voters, som_e claimed to be protesting.

Paul Alexander, age 78, passes away following a 70-year iron lung infection caused by polio.

The disease poliomyelitis, commonly referred to as polio, is extremely contagious and spreads from person to person. Although there had been knowledge of this illness for thousands of years, children were frequently  infected at an early age and became immune as new-borns. Significant epidemics started in Europe and the United States in the late 19th century and persisted until the 1950s, when a vaccine was developed. More severe instances will result in paralysis, but most children infected with the poliovirus recover after a few weeks and may need physical treatment. Death may ensue from paralysis that affects the respiratory muscles. However, one Texas child was committed to overcoming the challenges. Outbreak of Polio. On January 10, 1946, Paul Richard Alexander was born in Dallas, Texas. He shared a home with his parents, Nick, and Phil, his two brothers. There was a polio outbreak in the Dallas area in the summer of 1952, which caused a great deal of fear among parents attempting to shield their kids. Despite the fact that it was summer break, very few children were out in groups taking advantage of the nice weather, making the streets appear nearly empty. In July 1952, Paul was six years old. He was playing on the suburban family home’s front lawn one day. Paul, though, sensed that something wasn’t right. He walked into the kitchen to tell his mother that his head and neck hurt.…
