SHEBESHXT PLEADS TO BE RELEASED ON R50 000 BAIL, JUDGEMENT SET FOR WEDNESDAY POLOKWANE
Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, known to many as Shebeshxt has pleaded with the court to be released on R50 000 bail.
Magistrate Godfrey Netshiozwi has postponed the bail hearing to Wednesday, 17th December – where the bail judgement is expected to be handed over following closing arguments from the defence and the state.
The 30 – year old is facing nine charges including attempted murder, malicious damage to property and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The charges emanate from a road rage incident where Chauke allegedly shot and wounded a 34 – year old motorist in Ladanna, Polokwane on October 19th During the closing arguments by the defence, Shebeshxt’s lawyer, Isaac Mokgopo has told the court that his client has a new born to get home to after Kholofelo Chuene reportedly gave birth to a new born baby.
“We humbly ask the court to grant bail at a fixed amount of R50 000”, said Mokgopo.
