Businesswoman Sarah Mtalii has cleared the air on the recent buzz about her and their ex-husband Simon Kabu. This comes after photos of the two enjoying a yacht ride in Tanzania went viral, with many assuming they were back together.
Speaking from her office, Sarah said the trip was for work and had nothing to do with their past relationship. “We were at a Bonfire Adventures marketing event in Dar es Salaam. Simon is my co-director and business partner, not my husband anymore,” she stated.
Sarah made it clear that their marriage is officially over and they are in the final stages of getting their divorce certificates. “We are not reuniting. The process is almost done. By July, we’ll have the paperwork,” she added.
She explained that while they still work together at Bonfire Adventures, there is no romantic connection between them.
The entrepreneur didn’t hold back in criticizing bloggers and online platforms for spreading false information. “Some bloggers just publish lies without checking facts. Please stop misleading people,” Sarah said.
She added that even though the public is curious about her personal life, the truth should always come first.

The drama began when photos of Sarah and Kabu aboard a luxurious yacht hit the internet. Many gossip sites quickly reported a possible reunion, fueling speculation online.
But Sarah says the yacht event was part of a broader plan to promote Bonfire Adventures in the East African market, not a romantic getaway.
