Ralph Kasambala’s death at the Damron Room raises further unresolved issues.

Before his tragic death at a lodge, Ralph Kasambara attempted to self-administer first assistance, according to a police report made public 12 hours after his passing.

The 56-year-old Kasambara was a frequent visitor to Damron Lodge in Area 47, Sector 5, Lilongwe, when he was discovered dead in his room.

According to the report, Kasambara was discovered by a hotel employee when it came time to tidy the room, as directed by the attorney the previous day.

Before the unfortunate incident, Kasambara had attempted to perform first aid on his own, according to the police who were called to the site.

Violence was not evident in the scene. It was clear that the dead got out of bed and used a cushion to lie on the floor.

According to the report allegedly released by the Lingazi Police, “it was also observed that the deceased was trying to perform first aid on himself as he was found with a wet towel on his chest.”

Additionally, the police disclosed that they “found various types of beer in the room, along with different types of drugs.”

Kasambara was reportedly taking medication for a cardiac condition.

To find out why he died, a postmortem will be performed today, according to the police.

In Malawi, Kasambara was one of the most renowned and in-demand attorneys.
