Pastor Kanyari has finally addressed questions surrounding his much-talked-about KSh90 million mansion and why his children are yet to move in.
Kanyari, who shares two children with his late ex-wife Betty Bayo, clarified that the house purchase is still ongoing, dismissing claims that he abandoned plans meant for his kids.
Speaking, the pastor revealed that Sky and Danny currently live with Tash, Betty Bayo’s former partner, a decision he says was made in the best interest of the children following Betty’s death in November last year after a battle with leukemia.
According to Kanyari, co-parenting has been peaceful and focused solely on the children’s welfare. He stressed that there is constant communication and mutual understanding, shutting down online rumors suggesting conflict or custody battles.
Addressing the stalled mansion plans, Kanyari said he does not want to rush major life changes before everything is fully settled.
“I don’t want to make emotional or public-pressure decisions. My priority is ensuring the children are comfortable and stable,” he explained.
The preacher added that once the house deal is finalized, he will reassess living arrangements carefully, putting the children’s happiness and safety first.
His remarks have sparked conversations online, with many Kenyans applauding his calm, child-first approach amid intense public scrutiny.
For now, Kanyari insists that the KSh90 million mansion can wait but his children’s well-being cannot.
