Kenyans have reportedly given President William Ruto another new nickname following his decision to jet out of the country more regularly. A video shared by opposition blogger has captured a young lady in an event saying that the head of state should now be nicknamed “air hostess” because he jets out of the country more regularly.
The woman in the video said Ruto has been in more than three countries in the past one month, naming the Unitd States, South Korea and the most recent being Italy. She joked that because of the regular visits to other countries, the title President should be dropped and be replaced by Air Hostess.
“I think our President is an air hostess. Just tell the old women seated next to you air hostess, if she asks what is it then tell her it is President Ruto. Our President travels more regularly and I think we should now name him air hostess Ruto” she said amidst laughter from the crowd Kenyans had already nicknamed President William Ruto “Zakayo” for imposing taxes on Kenyans in proposed Finance Bill.
