Nairobi CEC Geoffrey Mosiria advises women not to abandon supportive partners after success.
Nairobi County Environment CEC Geoffrey Mosiria has stirred fresh conversations after giving controversial relationship advice to young women.
Speaking during a recent address, Mosiria urged ladies not to abandon men who supported them during their struggles once they become successful.
Mosiria cautioned that neglecting loyal partners after achieving financial or social progress could lead to regret.
“Ukiomoka, usiache huyo chali uliteseka naye. The tears of men who sacrificed their lives for you will haunt you,” he said.
He further noted that not every man who shows affection has pure intentions:
“Utasoka uteseke na ule mwenye unaendelea hadi ujiulize, mbona niliacha ule tulianza naye. Men will admire you, say they love you, but many want to use and dump you.”
His sentiments quickly went viral, triggering heated discussions on social media. Some users supported his message, praising him for championing loyalty, while others dismissed the advice as old-fashioned.
Kenyans from both sides of the gender divide connected his remarks to broader conversations about love, loyalty, and changing relationship dynamics.
