Nairobi Businesswoman Contracts HIV From Married Man
Violet Mukabana, a young woman from Nairobi, recently opened up about her devastating discovery that she had contracted HIV.
Violet shared her painful journey, which began after a relationship with a man she met at a club and soon became romantically involved with. Within two months of dating, Violet found herself pregnant with his child, unaware of the secrets her boyfriend was hiding.
As Violet’s pregnancy progressed, her boyfriend took her to his village, where she learned he had been married for six years and had two children. Despite this shocking revelation, she continued with the pregnancy and returned to Nairobi for the birth of her daughter.
After the birth of her child, Violet’s life took another devastating turn. During a routine visit to a clinic, she decided to take an HIV test, confident that her results would be negative.
However, to her disbelief, the test came back positive. She later convinced her boyfriend to also get tested, and his results were positive too. Violet was heartbroken, as she realized it was him who had infected her.
What made the situation worse was her boyfriend’s reaction. He remained silent and asked Violet not to tell anyone about his status.
He insisted that no one in his family knew, and Violet found herself isolated, with no one to share her burden with. She could not even breastfeed her child due to the diagnosis, which added to her emotional strain.
Woman Learns Husband Has Son with Married Neighbour
A married woman is perplexed after discovering her husband had an extramarital affair, which resulted in a child.
The woman shared her tale with TikToker Janomaxofficial, who reposted it on TikTok and asked people for suggestions. She revealed that she and her neighbour’s husband were members of the church’s leadership.
The lady discovered a month ago about the affair after getting chats on an old phone her husband had given their daughter. “My husband has a three-year-old son with our married neighbour. He has been paying her KSh 10,000 for upkeep, but she wants more.
She threatened him she would tell me about the affair if he didn’t take full responsibility for the child. Their son goes to a different school, but the side chick wants my hubby to take their child to my son’s school. I do not know whether to confront him or not kindly advise me.”
The woman disclosed she lost feelings for her man after discovering he was cheating, and they haven’t been intim*te for three years.
“He has been stressed of late and suggested we sell our house and go rent another house but I refused,” she shared.
