Mary Ann Musangi is one of the wealthiest Kenyan women, and beside her stands a hardworking and caring husband, Andrew Mukite Musangi.
Unlike Ann, who is the daughter of the late wealthy businessman Chris Kirubi, Andrew, on the other hand, had to work hard to attain the rich status he currently enjoys.
He married Mary-Ann Musangi in 2009, and they have two daughters.
The marriage automatically made him the son-in-law of the late Kenyan billionaire businessman Chris Kirubi.

His father was Professor Richard Musangi, a noted Kenyan educationist and former Vice-Chancellor of Egerton University.
He pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Hull, UK, in 1993 and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1995.
He began his legal career at Sheth and Wathigo Advocates and founded Mukite Musangi & Company Advocates in 1998, where he serves as Managing Partner.

His firm focuses on corporate, commercial, banking and finance law, and mergers and acquisitions.
Due to his high qualifications and hardworking spirit, he became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
He was nominated and appointed to this role, overseeing national monetary and financial-sector governance.

Adding to the list, he is the Chairman of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), Chairman of GenAfrica Asset Managers, and Chairman of Smart Applications International.
Andrew has also ventured into politics and served as Chairman of the Jubilee Party National Elections Board.
