Former First Lady, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, and former Taita-Taveta member of parliament, Basil Criticos, have obtained court orders compelling the land ministry to release the title deed for their 2634 acres in Taita-Taveta County.
A report by Daily Nation has revealed that President William Ruto, who bought some 2536 acres from Mr. Criticos in 2017, got his title and has even used it as collateral for his Ksh 200 million bank loan.
Meanwhile, President Ruto has criticized the United Opposition for attacking the government instead of selling their agenda to Kenyans.

The President, speaking about the current political situation in the country, said that Wiper Patriotic Front Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has not brought development to his home after being in politics for years.
Ruto asked how Kalonzo is going to transform Kenya if the road leading to his home are still dusty years after he became the vice president of Kenya.
According to Ruto, his administration is committed to fighting corruption and transforming Kenya into a first-world country.

Kalonzo hit back at the President, saying that he is telling Kenyans what they want to hear ahead of the upcoming General Elections in Kenya.
