Controversial Kenyan lawyer-cum-politician Karen Nyamu has opened up about her life and revealed to the whole world why she can never get married.
According to the voluptuous UDA party legislator, being someone’s wife has never been on her bucket list, because it is something that she has never admired.
Karen Nyamu made this clear today in a post that she made on her Instagram stories, where she was reacting to how digital creator Lydia Wanjiru had also said a similar thing.
Taking to her instagram account, Lydia Wanjiru said that she does not want to ever get married because she is not okay with living with a husband in same house for 7 days a week.
According to the digital creator, she just wants to have a companionship, which will only work if her man also has his own house because she does not want to be in the same space with her man always.
Karen Nyamu’s reaction
Karen Nyamu has actually fully supported what Lydia Wanjiru said, because she is also just like her when it comes to matters of marriage.
The nominated senator actually reposted the video that the digital creator had made, and then she accompanied it with a caption in which she said that she also cannot live with a man for 7 days a week.
Karen Nyamu also made it clear that she loves being in a relationship, but she does not want to be in a marriage setting that will make her stay with her man always.
The legislator also slammed the society for always putting expectations on people to get married, without even considering whether that is something that they want to do or not.
“I get this girl, or she gets me I don’t know which is which. Society should not make some of these very personal decisions for you. I like being in love. Living with you 7 days a week is where we draw the line”.
