A Kisii boda boda rider is in deep mourning after discovering that his wife, Paulina, had died at a guest house under mysterious circumstances. According to police, she left her home around 10 pm, leaving their three children alone and hungry.
Her husband said, “I tried calling her, but her phone was off. I cooked for the children and waited, but she never came back.”
The next morning, he reported her missing at the local police station. That is when he received the heartbreaking news: an unidentified woman had been found dead at a guest house. Upon visiting the mortuary, he confirmed it was his wife.
Police investigations revealed Paulina had checked into the guest house with another man. Reports suggest the man left, claiming he would get food, but never returned. Paulina was later found lifeless in the room.
“We were married for 15 years. I never mistreated her, and I was planning to pay her dowry soon,” her husband said, visibly distraught. He also noted that their marriage had faced difficulties, citing his wife’s previous infidelity.
The tragic death has left Kisii residents stunned. Police are still probing the exact circumstances surrounding her passing.
