Sunday, the 22nd of February, was indeed a special day for Anne Mwathi, who is the mother of the late interior designer Jeff Mwathi.
This is because on a day like that is when she unfortunately lost the hunk after he died, albeit three years ago.
Anne Mwathi therefore used the day to mark the 3rd anniversary of Jeff Mwathi’s death, and boy she did so in style!
Taking to her Facebook account, she shared a photo of his gravesite, and then she accompanied it with a caption of her admitting just how much she still loves him.
“I’ll push forward, I’ll keep trying. Though, no matter what I do, the tears that I am crying remind me of how much I still love you 3 years since you left me 😭😭😭” she said.
In another post, Ann Mwathi wrote:
“Gone but never forgotten. 3 years of grieving 😭”.
Jeff Mwathi unfortunately died on February, 22, 2023, after falling from the 10th floor of the Redwood Apartments in Roysambu, Nairobi.
The apartment actually belonged to renowned Mugithi musician Lawrence Njuguna, better known as DJ Fatxo.
DJ Fatxo was therefore among the last people who saw Jeff Mwathi alive, because he had met with him at his apartment several minutes before he died.
Even though early reports suggested that the interior designer had committed suicide, subsequent investigations and an ongoing court inquest have revealed significant evidence pointing towards foul play.
