Black American YouTuber J Rello was kicked out of Airbnb in Nairobi after a chaotic stay.

J Rello, a controversial Black American YouTuber known for his provocative travel streams, has been thrown out of an Airbnb in Nairobi. The eviction followed days of chaos involving women featured in his content and a viral video that shocked viewers online.

In the footage circulating on social platforms, a woman is seen crying for her phone while reportedly naked, as another woman tries to calm her down. Rello later admitted he paid Ksh 6,000 to film the encounter but claimed the woman demanded more money after realising he was making profits from the video.

The situation worsened when his hosts cut off power and Wi-Fi. Rello alleged that they threatened to involve the police if he refused to vacate the premises.

The scandal has already cost him dearly. All three of his YouTube channels were taken down after allegations of mistreating female guests surfaced. In response, Rello accused Kenyans of cyberbullying him, saying the hate was directed at the country rather than himself.

This is not the first time Rello has clashed with Kenyans. In 2024, he sparked anger after publicly claiming Kenyan women were “unattractive.” The backlash grew so heated that he relocated temporarily, though he eventually returned. His latest drama adds to growing disputes and financial troubles.

With no YouTube platform and his Nairobi stay cut short, questions linger over whether J Rello will finally exit Kenya or continue chasing clout that has increasingly put him at odds with locals.
