My name is John and for a long time, my life was marked by constant rejection. I worked hard in school, earned my qualifications, and believed that determination would eventually pay off. I attended interview after interview, confidently answering questions and presenting my documents. Many times, the interview panels praised my performance and assured me that I was suitable for the position. However, days would pass, then weeks, and I would hear nothing. The jobs always went to other people, some with fewer qualifications than mine.
This painful pattern repeated itself over the years.The rejection was not limited to employment alone. Even when I tried to start small businesses, they failed without clear reasons. Customers would show interest and then disappear. Deals that seemed promising would collapse at the last minute. People slowly lost confidence in me, and some family members began to believe I was irresponsible or unlucky. I prayed consistently and pushed myself harder, but nothing changed. Deep inside, I felt that something was wrong, something beyond normal struggles.Living in Kenya, watching my peers progress while my life remained stuck, became emotionally draining.
