For a long time, Andrew, a soft-spoken man from Jinja, Uganda, lived a life full of confusion and pain. Wherever he went—workplaces, business spaces, even social gatherings—people seemed to dislike him for no clear reason. He was polite, respectful, and hardworking, yet rejection followed him everywhere. Jobs would start well and suddenly turn hostile. Friends would distance themselves without explanation. Even relatives treated him with coldness. “It felt like people hated me before even knowing me,” Andrew shared.
At first, Andrew blamed himself. He tried changing his behavior, becoming quieter, then more outspoken, but nothing worked. At work, supervisors accused him unfairly, colleagues gossiped about him, and promotions passed him by.
