Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has said he will attend Salvation Healing Ministries to see if Prophet Victor Kanyari’s anointing oil can help him secure a cabinet slot in the national government.
Speaking on Saturday, December 6, 2025, Mosiria explained that he plans to attend one of Kanyari’s services and receive the anointing oil himself.
“Rafiki yangu, kama kweli hii mafuta inafanya kazi, Sunday nitakuja unimwagie nione kama baraka itatokea nipate uwaziri katika serikali kuu. Na hapo mimi nitakuja nitoe ushuhuda nikiandamana na wengine ambao watasema kweli mafuta ya Kanyari inafanya kazi,” he said.
Mosiria’s comments come after Prophet Kanyari claimed the county official was moved from his previous role as Nairobi Environment Chief Officer because he had failed to respect him.
“Even that Nairobi Environment Chief Officer, Mosiria, was reassigned. I did not curse him, but never disrespect a man of God or his servants. I have also seen people on social media saying that Kanyari and Mosiria had a falling out and that Mosiria was removed from his docket because of me,” Kanyari said during a church service on November 30, 2025.
To settle the matter, Mosiria confirmed he will attend the church service but asked the prophet to stop roasting meat inside the church.
