France firmly backs Israel’s security and calls accusations of antisemitism against two-state supporters baseless.
France has restated its strong commitment to Israel’s protection, aligning with its classification of Hamas as a terrorist group, just like Canada and the UK. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot made it clear that Paris firmly stands with Israel when it comes to security matters.

Minister Barrot also rejected claims that those who push for a two-state solution are supporting Hamas or antisemitism. He described those accusations as not only false but also harmful, calling them “absurd and slanderous.”
UK: Support for Israel Must Obey Law
Meanwhile, Britain echoed support for Israel’s right to defend itself, but emphasized that such action must follow international laws. British Armed Forces Minister Luke Pollard said the country remains against terrorism, but expects any military response to observe humanitarian principles.

Pollard, in an interview with Times Radio, also pointed out the urgent need to ensure that aid continues flowing into Gaza. While backing Israel’s self-defence, he stressed the importance of helping civilians affected by the conflict.
