Senator Allan Chesang held an engagement ceremony with Channelle Kittony in Kitale.
Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang and Channelle Kittony officially got engaged in a colourful ceremony held in Kitale on Saturday, July 12. The event brought together a host of leaders and public figures, including Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi and former Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.
The private but elegant celebration was graced by close friends, family members, and respected leaders from across the political divide.
Channelle Kittony currently serves as the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure in Trans Nzoia County. She is also the daughter of Kiprono Kittony, the Chairperson of the Nairobi Securities Exchange. Her grandmother, Zipporah Kittony, is a former Senator and ex-chairperson of Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Organisation.
Senator Chesang chose a dapper outfit featuring a two-tone blend of beige and deep brown, complete with a matching hat. Channelle looked radiant in a light rose gold gown decorated with detailed champagne-colored beadwork. Guests followed suit, embracing both traditional and modern looks, with many men seen wearing hats and carrying walking sticks.
Oscar Sudi shared a heartfelt message after the event, celebrating the couple’s union and extending his good wishes.
“The ceremony was colourful and full of joy. I wish Allan and Channelle a lifetime of happiness, love, and companionship,” Sudi said.
The Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association (KYPA) also congratulated the senator, posting:
“Congratulations, Hon Allan Chesang, on your engagement! May your journey together be filled with joy.”
The engagement marks a significant milestone in both their personal and public lives, and the support from the political and social communities highlights the respect and admiration the couple commands. As they step into this new chapter, the nation joins them in wishing for love, unity, and success in their journey ahead
