Abel Mutua Responds to allegations of him forcefully kissing Sarah Hassan

Recently, Abel Mutua did an interview with the mic check podcast where he explained his relationship with Sarah Hassan on set. He claimed to have taken an opportunity on the last episode of The Tahidi High Show to write in a kissing scene between him and Sarah, which would fulfill a fantasty of his. He said

“Mungu ni nani. Our very last episode nikasema huyu dem amekuwa akiniyima walahi, the very second last scene of my episode on the show, nilimpiga mate kwa class. Nilimkiss mbaya. Ni script. Sasa unakataa na ni script inasema?”

He has now come out to defend himself. In an interview with Ankali Ray of Milele FM, he spoke of the whole thing being strictly acting:

It was a character war, not sisi wenyewe.”

In other news, After a successful musical tour in Germany, Kenyan music sensation Willy Paul has come out to say that he is going to relocate to the country. He posted to his Instagram:

I’ve Decided To Make Germany My New Home… Lots Of Love And Opportunities Here. It’s About Time… Pushing The Pozze Sound To The World. Will Miss Y’all Though. Keep Supporting Your Ninja. Even Without My Presence, I Will Still Run The Kenyan Industry”

There has recently been a large wave of sentiment amongst young Kenyans that they want to move away from the country. Recently a research firm named Odipodev did a study that should that 84% of young Kenyans wish to leave the country. They didn’t even want to stay in Africa. Their most preferred destination was the US.

Perhaps Willy Paul is also in this boat and he will join other artists like Naiboi and Flexx who disappeared abroad despite seemingly having a lot of success in the Kenyan market.
