A physically furious Suna East member of parliament Junet Mohammed has today responded to a top official of the Orange Democratic Movement party, he has linked the official to recent attacks on him that he (Junet) is planning to sell the party to president William Ruto without the input of other party officials.
Junet says that what shocked him is when the official met with him at Night at Kisumu and the unnamed official told him there is a lucrative plan for the Orange Democratic Movement party to ditch the broadbased government and join the United opposition.
According to Junet, the official told him that former president Uhuru Kenyatta has set aside Ksh.1bilion for the party for it to be strong, the reason for the decamping from the broadbased government will be that the president has failed to honour the ten-point agenda that gave birth to the broadbased government.
Junet Mohammed says that he rejected the offer saying that Uhuru Kenyatta failed to make the late Raila Odinga the president of Kenya even with all resources and systems at his disposal thus it is unwise to join him now.
