Celebrities Manage to Raise Millions In Support of Struggling Top Kikuyu Musician Gachati Wa Thuo After Going Bankrupt & Properties Under Auction Risk

The last several hours or so have indeed been full of joy for popular Kikuyu musician Gachathi wa Thuo after his fellows shown full spot to him.

This is because he has gotten a major boost with regards to him paying his loan of Kshs 3 million, which he had struggled a lot of pay his lender.

Gachathi wa Thuo will now be able to pay more than half the money because his fellow celebrities came to his aid Monday, and raised some money for him after feeling sorry for him.

The celebrities, who met the the Elysian Hotel in order to see how they were going to help Gachathi wa Thuo, managed to raise Kshs 1,722,000.

This was disclosed by renowned musician and philanthropist Karangu Muraya, who was among the celebrities that attended the meeting.

This was in a post that he made on his Facebook account where he appreciated the financial contributions, and further urged well-wishers to still send some money since it was not yet enough.

“By the grace of God…we are able to raise kshs 1,722,000 in support of our brother Gachathi wa Thuo…Jehovah you are wonderful…God bless you all…continue sending your support on 0727574752 peter thuo” Karangu Muraya said.

Gachathi wa Thuo’s situation

As mentioned above, the celebrities came together to help Gachathi wa Thuo because he was struggling financially, while at the same time he had a loan of Kshs 3 million that he was supposed to pay urgently.

According to reports, his situation was so bad that his personal car was repossessed by the lender and auctioned so as to settle part of the huge loan. Now only Kshs 3 million remained.

To make things worse, the lender was also planning to take away his house, as well as his piece of land that valued at Kshs 20 million, and auction it so as to recover just the Kshs 3 million.

Gachathi wa Thuo’s situation was also brought to light by Karangu Muraya, who urged well-wishers to help him as shown in the link below.
