Popular radio presenter and media personality Kamene Goro has stirred online discussion after revealing that the cheapest house rent she has ever paid in Nairobi is KSh 55,000.
Speaking candidly, Kamene said she has always lived in comfortable environments, crediting her stable career and family background for enabling her lifestyle.
Kamene shared that she landed her first major media job at just 21 years old, working at Ebru TV, where she earned a decent salary. Since then, she said, she has maintained a standard of living that matches her income and personal taste.
“I’ve been working since my early twenties and have always lived comfortably. The least rent I’ve ever paid in Nairobi is fifty-five thousand shillings,” she said.
Born and raised in Nairobi, Kamene said she grew up in a supportive family where financial stability was never a challenge. She added that she’s accustomed to a suburban lifestyle, one that reflects both her upbringing and professional achievements.
Kamene, who now works with NRG Radio and is also known for her work as an event host and media influencer, remains one of the most outspoken female voices in Kenya’s entertainment industry.
