Offset has released his third solo album, KIARI, with 18 tracks.
Atlanta rapper Offset released his third solo album, KIARI, on Friday, August 22. The 18-track project is now available on all streaming platforms.
The album comes after his 2023 project Set It Off, which, like his debut, entered the Billboard 200 Top Five.
Unlike his earlier works, Offset uses KIARI to reflect on his life and past relationships. On the final track, “Move On,” he speaks openly about his split with Cardi B.
“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be. It’s all love and peace… It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed,” Offset told the Associated Press.
Offset also revealed that he has reconnected with fellow Migos member Quavo. He said they may even work on a joint project in honour of their late bandmate TakeOff.
“It’s possible,” he said in an Apple Music interview. “First, we’re just checking in with each other and see each other’s worlds: ‘You good?’”
With KIARI, Offset mixes emotion and high-profile features, giving fans a closer look at his personal journey while showing he remains a strong force in hip-hop.
