Manchester United Unveil Retro-Inspired Third Kit Honouring 1993–94 Double Winners Summary New third kit pays tribute to the 1993–94 double-winning side. Black base with yellow trim, blue accents, and adidas Trefoil logo. Features tonal devil motif and shield-shaped crest frame. Squad strengthened with £200m signings; more transfers expected. Key players including Antony, Sancho, and Garnacho up for sale. A Throwback to Glory Days Manchester United have revealed their third kit for the upcoming season, inspired by the iconic away strip worn from 1993 to 1995. The design celebrates the legendary 1993–94 team that won both the Premier League and FA Cup under Sir Alex Ferguson. The shirt features a black base with bright yellow trim and subtle blue touches, bringing back the adidas Trefoil logo for a second year. A tonal devil motif is woven into the fabric, while the crest is set in a shield-shaped frame for a classic look. Remembering the 1993–94 Double That season remains one of United’s most memorable. With stars like Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, and Ryan Giggs, the team dominated English football, only missing out on a domestic treble after a League Cup final loss to Aston Villa. Focus on the Future With the kit now released, United’s full matchday wardrobe for the season is complete. Attention turns to the pitch, where new manager Ruben Amorim has been backed heavily in the transfer market. The club has spent over £200 million to sign Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Šeško. Brighton’s Carlos Baleba is also a top target, though further signings could depend on player sales. Squad Changes Ahead Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Jadon Sancho are available for transfer, while Rasmus Højlund’s future looks uncertain following Šeško’s arrival. The reshuffle reflects United’s determination to reclaim their place among the Premier League’s elite — with a kit that symbolically ties them to one of their greatest eras.

Spurs are pushing hard to sign Savinho and Eze in Thomas Frank’s first season.

Tottenham Hotspur have increased their efforts to bring in Savinho and Eberechi Eze as new manager Thomas Frank seeks a strong start to his first season. The club is working to secure players who can make an immediate impact, especially after losing Son Heung-min and with James Maddison sidelined through injury.

While Eze’s name has been linked to Spurs for a while, Savinho’s inclusion in the shortlist has taken many by surprise. The 20-year-old winger, currently with Manchester City, is being considered alongside other options such as Jack Grealish and James McAtee.

With his role at City uncertain under Pep Guardiola, Savinho is reportedly open to a move where he can get more regular playing time. This situation mirrors Julian Alvarez’s unexpected exit to Atlético Madrid last year after limited opportunities at City.

Reports suggest Guardiola would prefer to keep Savinho, but he has previously allowed players to leave when they push for a new challenge. For Spurs, Savinho could become a key figure in their long-term plans if they can convince him to join.

Eberechi Eze’s situation is more straightforward. The Crystal Palace forward has been monitored by Arsenal , but doubts over his fit in their system have slowed any move. Tottenham believe they can have both Eze and Savinho in the same squad, with negotiations for both players ongoing at the same time.

If Spurs proceed with both signings, the combined cost is expected to go beyond £100 million. Club chiefs have assured Thomas Frank of strong financial support to help Tottenham compete at the top level again and push for Champions League football. The coming days will determine if talks turn into final agreements.
