92-year-old Ndung’u Karioki and 40-year-old Winnie Karioki share an inspiring love story despite a 52-year age gap. The two met through Ndung’u’s daughter and tied the knot in 2014.

For 92-year-old Ndung’u Karioki and his 40-year-old wife, Winnie, love truly knows no boundaries. Despite their 52-year age difference, the two have built a life together that many call extraordinary.

Their relationship has become an internet sensation, showing how genuine affection can thrive even where society sees impossibility.

The couple met through Ndung’u’s daughter years ago and started as friends. Over time, their friendship turned into something deeper, and by 2014, when Winnie was 30, they decided to marry.

Since then, they have been together for over a decade and are now parents to two children.

Ndung’u says his marriage to Winnie brought light back into his life after years of loneliness. He had lost his first wife seven years earlier, a period he describes as one of deep pain and isolation.

“I had no peace. My family didn’t expect me to live long. Some were even waiting for me to die so they could take my property,” he said.

But marrying Winnie changed everything. She became not only a companion but also a source of strength and care.

Their love story, however, has not been free of challenges. Ndung’u revealed that some of his own children and relatives opposed the marriage, viewing it as a threat to their inheritance.

The couple says they turned to faith to stay strong. “We chose to trust in God and ignore what people said. We knew our love was genuine,” Winnie shared.

Now in his 90s, Ndung’u remains active and in good health, something he credits to Winnie’s care and love. The two still live happily together and describe their 11-year marriage as just the beginning of a lifelong journey.

Their youngest child is just a year old, and they are open to welcoming more children in the future.

“Love is what keeps us going,” Winnie said. “We will stay together until death parts us.”
