Tv star Laconco opens up about her love life with former Pres Jacob Zuma.

TV personality Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco recently shared personal information about her relationship with former South African President Jacob Zuma on social media.

LaConco detailed their years-long love journey in a series of Instagram stories, starting from when they first met and continuing through to the birth of their son.

Looking back on the initial years, she stated that they dated for four years before becoming engaged in 2010.

“We lived in a bubble that we had manufactured. Although they didn’t know who I was in love with, everyone around me could see I was. I was also sensed by his circle. Some searched for my photos, while others bided their time until he was ready to present me,” she revealed.

LaConco claimed that she traveled a lot during this time of her life. “I was flying all the time and staying in hotels every week,” she continued. I could see him for thirty minutes at a time at times, and that was plenty. This stage put my commitment to my principles and values to the test.

Zuma and LaConco’s engagement and lobola
LaConco recalls her lobola negotiating day clearly; it was an intimate conversation between their families only.

Even though he had meetings to attend, he took the time to give a call and share his excitement. All day, I had the impression that I was dreaming. While unable to eat, I prepared everything. One of the negotiators said something that I will never forget: “Mama, you have raised her well; we have never come across such a woman.”

She stated that Zuma had phoned her in November 2016 with an important request. “We need to find a symbol, Ntombi, so everyone will know you are someone’s fiancée,” he said to me when I got home from work.

He was telling me that we needed to locate the ring. We set out to find a ring. I looked at choices in Pretoria and Cape Town, but Durban was the best fit for me.

Pregnancy and virginity
LaConco emphasizes that she chose to stay a virgin for personal reasons rather than primarily in preparation for marriage.

“I never felt pressed for time once he paid lobola. It happened when I was ready to do the baby dance. I was never intimidated by his status, and I never doubted my own because he demonstrated it to me. “In private, he adored me profusely,” she remarked.

According to LaConco, Zuma was the first to discover she was pregnant. “My breasts were the first sign,” the woman revealed. It enraged me when he revealed to me that I was pregnant. He mentioned a bridge that would bind us together indefinitely. Although I was pregnant, I mistakenly believed I had cancer.

Saluting their son Sakhaumuzi, LaConco stated she disclosed the gender of their child in April 2018.

He told me that gender was irrelevant, but he was [ecstatic] to find out it was a boy. We are building a home, so Sakhaumzi is the name he gave him.
