Environmental activist Truphena Muthoni has achieved a remarkable milestone, with her conservation-related content amassing over 68 million views on Facebook.
The 22-year-old environmentalist shared the exciting news in a Facebook post on December 20, 2025, highlighting the growing global interest in environmental issues.
Truphena emphasized that the surge in engagement reflects a public willingness to engage with conservation efforts, with millions now actively consuming and responding to content that champions nature, forests, wildlife, and the planet’s future.

Truphena’s message was clear: “Let’s stand for our forests, let’s fight for our animals, let’s defend our future!” She further encouraged collective action to protect the environment, stating that the 68 million views in just 28 days showed a significant increase in public awareness and interest.
Her post also revealed that engagement grew by an incredible 1,200%, marking one of her strongest performance periods to date.
This milestone follows a series of successful environmental campaigns, including Truphena’s recent viral 72-hour tree-hugging challenge in Nyeri County.
Her previous 48-hour challenge had already earned her a Guinness World Record, and her recent efforts to raise awareness about deforestation and climate change have garnered national attention.
In recognition of her contributions to environmental stewardship, President William Ruto awarded Truphena the Head of State’s Commendation (HSC), and she was appointed ambassador of the 15 Billion Tree Planting Campaign, a major government initiative aimed at restoring Kenya’s forest cover.
As Truphena’s influence continues to grow, her dedication to environmental conservation inspires thousands to take action for a better planet.
