The Ukrainian foreign minister responded to Putin’s proposal to meet with Zelenskiy in Moscow
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sibiha, assessed today that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Moscow is unacceptable.
According to Ukrainska Pravda, Sibiha said that at least seven countries have offered to host the Russia-Ukraine summit, and among them are Austria, the Vatican, Switzerland, Turkey and the three countries of the Persian Gulf.
These are serious proposals and Zelensky is ready for such a meeting at any time. Nevertheless, Putin continues to ridicule everything, knowing that it is an unacceptable proposal, explained the Ukrainian head of diplomacy.
Sibiha believes that only increased pressure can prompt Russia to take the peace process seriously.
At a press conference in Beijing, Putin proposed to Zelensky to travel to Moscow for talks.
