Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has come out and given her assessment after President Ruto’s Deputy Chief of Staff Eliud Owalo declared his 2027 Presidential bid.
According to Millie Odhiambo’s assessment, there could be more than meets the eye in Owalo’s declaration. She said that Eliud Owalo could be aiming at fighting ODM Party, that’s if he fails to vie in UDA thereby becoming a kingpin of a smaller party that then fights out against ODM.
Millie Odhiambo, in her assessment, also suspects that Eliud Owalo could be warming his political muscles to run for Siaya Gubernatorial seat or Rarieda Parliamentary seat.
Millie Odhiambo has laughed off Owalo’s Presidential bid, describing it ‘hot air, wild goose chase and a fool’s errand. She also suspects that the former CS could be in the long run aiming to either fight ODM Party.
“Former CS Eliud Owalo has declared he is vying as President. My assessment is:1) If he does not vie in UDA, he becomes a kingpin of a smaller party that then fights out against ODM. 2) May be a launching pad for Gubernatorial Siaya or Rarieda. 3) Presidential bid is hot air, wild goose chase and fools errand outside 1 and 2.”
The assessment by Millie Odhiambo comes after Eliud Owalo declared his 2027 Presidential bid. Speaking today on Sunday, the Ruto Deputy Chief of Staff made the surprising announcement that has now continued to ignite a political discourse, with Millie Odhiambo dismissing the Presidential bid.
