Manchester United forward Benjamin Sesko is expected to be out for close to a month after picking up a knee injury during the match against Tottenham Hotspur before the international break.
The 22-year-old, who joined United from RB Leipzig for £74 million in August, came on in the second half but was unable to finish the game after getting hurt in the 2-2 draw on 8 November.
Head coach Ruben Amorim initially said he couldn’t confirm how serious the situation was. Despite that uncertainty, club sources later indicated that the injury is not believed to be major.
Even so, the forward was ruled out of Slovenia’s World Cup qualifying games, and he is now likely to be out for about four weeks. The club is still waiting to confirm the exact recovery timeline.
