Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr, has received assurances from the club that errors from the previous period will be addressed, with the aim of restoring stability, including settling outstanding financial dues owed to club employees.
In a report seen by The Nassr Tribune on X platform, it reads that the coming days may also bring sweeping administrative changes, potentially including the removal of chairman Abdullah Al-Majed, as part of measures to contain internal tensions and restore authority to the Portuguese staff.
One of Al-Majed’s media interviews reportedly upset the Portuguese camp due to comments about the CEO and coaching staff led by Jorge Jesus.
Ronaldo is expected to return for Saturday’s match against Al-Fateh in the 22nd round of the Saudi Pro League, after missing games against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad.
His absence was linked to dissatisfaction with the club’s limited support during the winter transfer window. This follows a previous administrative decision in which the board froze the powers of CEO José Semedo and withdrew financial spending authority, limiting approvals to the executive committee only
All being well, Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to end his strike and return for Al-Nassr this weekend against Al-Fateh.
He posted an image today of himself walking into training, which appears to signal peace between him and the club’s hierarchy.

Ronaldo had been unhappy with how Al-Nassr was being run, feeling other Saudi clubs were receiving preferential treatment and more transfer funds.
Reports also suggested concerns over unpaid colleagues and the marginalisation of people close to him during the January window.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Al-Skeet, Secretary General of Al-Nassr Club Company’s Board of Directors and Executive Director of Governance, Compliance and Risk, has officially submitted his resignation from the board, citing personal reasons without further details.
