Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru Goes After President Ruto Accuses Him of Benefiting from Minnesota Fraud Syndicate Recently Exposed By Donald Trump

Prominent Kenyan lawyer Ndegwa Njiru has ignited a political firestorm with a bold claim on X, alleging that President William Ruto was a direct beneficiary of a massive money laundering operation tied to Minnesota’s multibillion-dollar fraud scandal.

Njiru stated, “It’s now confirmed that Willaim Ruto was ultimately one of the beneficiaries of the 38 billion Minnesota money laundering syndicate,” accompanied by a video clip from a news broadcast showing Ruto during a development tour in the North Eastern region.

The accusation references the expanding U.S. FBI probe into Minnesota’s social services fraud, initially centered on the Feeding Our Future program, which has ballooned to potentially over $9 billion in misappropriated funds.

Federal indictments have linked the scheme to international money laundering, with Kenya emerging as a key hub where proceeds allegedly flowed into real estate in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area and possibly even the 2022 presidential campaigns.

Sources indicate that up to Ksh39 billion (approximately $300 million) may have been laundered through Kenyan networks, prompting U.S.-Kenya collaboration to trace assets.

Njiru’s post has sparked heated reactions, with users speculating on Ruto’s ties to the North Eastern community and calling for U.S. intervention under President Trump.

This comes amid broader corruption allegations against Ruto’s administration, including past claims from allies like Rigathi Gachagua. As Kenya grapples with economic challenges, such accusations could intensify scrutiny ahead of the 2027 elections.
