Pastor Victor Kanyari has once again stirred online discussions after posting screenshots of a WhatsApp exchange and an M-Pesa transaction involving his ex-wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo.
The screenshots, which circulated widely across Facebook, X, Instagram blogs, and TikTok livestream forums, show Kanyari sending KSh117,500 in school fees for their son, Danny.
In the chat, Betty saved in Kanyari’s phone as Mama Sky requests that he urgently settle the pending school fees, stressing that their son risked being barred from attending lessons if the balance was not cleared.
By the next morning, Kanyari responded with a screenshot of the M-Pesa confirmation, indicating the payment had been made to Regis Schools.
The receipt clearly displayed the transaction amount, charges incurred, and his remaining balance.
The uploads instantly attracted attention from major gossip hubs such as Nairobi Gossip Club, Plug TV Kenya, and Tuko’s social pages.
TomTom creators also picked up the story, fueling conversations during live sessions.
Many Kenyans applauded Kanyari, describing the payment as proof of responsible fatherhood especially at a time when co-parenting disputes frequently dominate social media.
