An old man’s life narrative and the events leading up to his imprisonment were presented on Inooro TV just a few hours ago. Eliud Njuguna is his name, and he’s been sentenced to nine years in prison.
His path to incarceration started in December of 2018. It all started when, at around noon, the police pulled him up as he was leaving church. The authorities were hesitant to bring defilement charges against him and place him in jail.
Upon being taken to court, he strongly denied the accusations, asserting that he had never committed the crime. Because of a land dispute, his female friend wants him dead in prison, and he has been rather open about it.
Still, he was arguing with a very naive and uneducated child, so his arguments were falling flat. He appealed to the Muranga court and is now waiting for a call.
He concluded by saying that he and his wife are doing well and that they speak frequently. Even though he’s 80 years old, he’s pleading with the government to let him out of prison.
