Few hours ago a touching story of a kenyan lady has been shared online, she took to share her experience of betrayal, financial exploitation and emotional abuse in the hands of two men she loved and trusted. Her name is Faith Magare who has fell in love twice, but ended up wounded from the two love stories.
According to her, she met her first partner in 2014 shortly after completing high school. The man who was a music producer offered to record her songs for free and the two eventually developed a romantic relationship. In 2018, they moved in together, and she later gave birth to a daughter.
However, in 2019, their relationship took a turn when she discovered messages in his phone revealing he was being involved with another woman. The man allegedly claimed in the messages that he was not married and he was ready to marry the other woman. After a confrontation, he disappeared for two days before returning to apologize, and Magare forgave him.

Despite the reconciliation, she learned in 2020 that he was still communicating with the same woman. Magare reached out to the woman to seek clarity, only to be told that nothing would stop her from marrying the man.
The situation worsened in November that year when the woman began sending Magare photos of herself with the man. Overwhelmed, she chose to leave the home temporarily to reflect on her future.
She left her child under her mother’s care and moved in with a friend as she struggled to rebuild her life. She began selling snacks such as bajia and samosa to support herself.
Her fortunes improved when a song she recorded went viral, enabling her to move to her own apartment and stabilize financially.
During this period, she met another man and entered a new relationship. Magare said she funded nearly everything in the relationship while the man, who she later discovered did not have a house of his own, frequently visited her at her apartment. He introduced her to his family, giving her hope for marriage.
Believing in their future together, Magare said she renovated the man’s mother’s house using her money. However, trouble began when she returned from a two-day work trip and learned that he had brought another woman into her home.
After conducting her own investigation, she eventually found a woman inside her house, leading to a physical confrontation in which the man overpowered her and forced her out.
Family members intervened, and the matter was settled. Still committed to the relationship, Magare funded a business for the man’s mother and even bought her a cow as they continued planning for marriage.
The turning point came when Magare met a pregnant woman introduced to her as the man’s sister. She later discovered the woman was actually his first wife, and they had a child together.
She confronted the man’s mother fell ill from shock. She later came to lean that the mother had been part of a larger scheme to exploit her financially.

Feeling deceived, Magare caused drama at his mother’s home and insisted on reclaiming the belongings she had purchased, including the cow. She later sold the cow and deposited the money to her account and left.
Later the mam confronted her demanding the cow, he assaulted her and caused further chaos before she managed to return to Nairobi. She eventually discovered that he had used her money to pay dowry for his first wife.
To date the man is still after her, claiming that he still want her back. She made it clear that love has wounded her, and she doesn’t believe that she will ever fall in love again. Watch the full video below and share your views with us.
