Harambee Stars Defender Suleiman Mansur Blocks Unknown Callers to Focus on Career

Suleiman Mansur says he no longer answers calls from unknown numbers.

Harambee Stars defender Suleiman Mansur has said he has stopped picking up calls from numbers he does not know. He explained that his time and energy are now fully dedicated to football, family, and close friends.

“Where were you when I was struggling?” Mansur asked during an interview, reacting to the sudden attention he had received after CHAN 2024.

Kenya’s strong display at the African Nations Championship saw the national team reach the quarter-finals, a milestone that attracted praise nationwide. To celebrate the achievement, President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga promised a reward of KSh 5.5 million. The pledge has given the team extra motivation as they look ahead to future competitions.

Head coach Benni McCarthy described the quarter-final success as a possible turning point for the national team. He advised his players to remain disciplined and to keep building on their progress as they face upcoming qualifiers.

For Mansur, all that matters now is avoiding distractions and staying fully focused on his role in the team. He said his career on the pitch remains his top priority as he looks forward to more success with the Stars.
