Veteran politician Cyrus Jirongo spent his last hours with a woman before he died in a car crash Friday morning.
Sources close to the investigation are revealing more about what he did Thursday night, and it’s making people wonder about what happened right before the accident.
Sources who wanted to stay anonymous said that Mr. Jirongo was in Nairobi Thursday evening with a female friend.
Later, she asked him to drop her off at a hotel in Naivasha. He said yes and drove her there, getting there less than an hour before the crash.
What’s getting attention is what they found in his car. Witnesses and people who know about the early findings say they saw women’s stuff in the car. Clothes that looked like they belonged to a woman were on the back seat.
