The former Senior Economic Advisor in the Executive Office of the President Moses Kuria has reported to have been beaten and injured.
In photos going viral in the social media, Moses Kuria is seen covered with a slightly bloody bandage on his head.
Moses is said to have been attacked during his campaigns in Mbeere North. He was campaigning for his Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) candidate in the hotly contested elections.

Reports indicate that he was beaten by his opponents from the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
The by-election is one of the hotly contested races that has attracted the mighty in the land of Kenyan politics.
However, despite of several other participants in the race, it has been reduced to a two horse race; with one side having the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and the other his successor Prof Kithure Kindiki.

The two are in a supremacy battle over the control of the region.
