Hussein Mohammed warns fans against showing up at Kasarani with fake or duplicated tickets.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohammed has sent a stern message to football lovers ahead of the upcoming matches. He made it clear that fans without genuine e-tickets bought from official platforms should not bother heading to Kasarani Stadium.
The directive comes in the wake of previous incidents where supporters holding what they believed were valid tickets were turned away at the gates. Investigations later revealed that many of these tickets were duplicates or had been sold in bulk to unauthorised resellers.
In earlier games, the confusion at entry points led to tension, with some frustrated fans attempting to force their way in. This not only created security concerns but also disrupted the smooth flow of spectators into the venue.
Mohammed stressed that stadium gates will only recognise authentic e-tickets purchased via official FKF platforms. He urged those unable to secure valid tickets to show their support from home and help maintain order.
