Father mourns the loss of his son During hijacking in Soshanguve

South Africa: A carjacker shot and killed Ditebogo Jr., Phalane’s five-year-old son, outside their home in Soshanguve Block UU on Friday night. Ditebogo Phalane is inconsolable.

The youngster was declared dead by doctors at the closest hospital, where Phalane promptly took his comatose son, according to family spokesman Gift Makoti.

When he brought the youngster to the hospital in the hopes of receiving assistance, he did report that the child was unconscious.

Declared dead, the boy could not be saved by the hospital.

Due to the young couple’s circumstances—they are shocked and feeling overpowered—the family is currently quite upset, according to Makoti.

A murder and hijacking case has been opened, according to police spokeswoman Lt-Col Mavela Masondo, and the suspects are being sought out.

A daughter, the 33-year-old father of two boys and his partner, had just welcomed the birth of their third kid. The family had previously suffered a break-in a few months prior, during which time their automobile’s wheels were taken, Makoti disclosed.

“He is employed in Polokwane and only returns home on Thursdays or Fridays, therefore he does not reside in Soshanguve full-time.

He declared, “I am certain that these individuals were aware of his habits and that he was returning home.”

According to Makoti, the boy was a sweetheart who would sprint into his father’s car when he got home.
